First of all, we will give you our individual conclusions and then we will write some group conclusions!
Eli: This
project has given me a lot of headaches but at the end I am proud of the work I have done.
My biggest difficulty has been the technology. As I have been writing in my
reflections, mounting the videos of the evidences has been like being in the
hell for me. However, I decided to overtake this problem and after looking for
different tutorial videos and thanks to my patient, at the end, I think that
the videos of my evidences are clear.
Besides, I have felt comfortable during
the process of making the desserts because this project has given me the opportunity
to achieve new skills. I have noticed I am a good cook and that gives me
motivation and energy to continue learning more about this topic. In conclusion,
I am proud of the work I have done and although my expectatives were not so good at the beginning, I will continue cooking in the future.
Miren: this project has been very intensive for me, thanks to it I have realized I like cooking and I have skills for that. The way has been long and in some moments I have the sensation I would not going to achieve the goals, but finally working and with motivation I have done what I was expected to do and the results have been very positive.
As in all processes I have had good moments but also some difficulties. The technology has been an obstacle sometimes because I did not know how to cope with it when I had to prepare the videos; for that, I have looked for different strategies which have helped me to solve that problem. In some moments, I have had the sensation that the project was very individual, but now I can say that we have talked a lot to share the improvements or problems of each one.
To conclude, I can say that I am very happy with the work we have done, the motivation has been a strong point for us and our level of English has helped us a lot when writing the blog. We hope we can do a very good presentation of our project and people can understand our steps and improvements. Besides, we are looking forward to carry some desserts to class and do a sweet presentation.
Iraitz: Little by little our process has arrived to the end. The moment to take out some conclusions has arrived and that is what I am doing now. This process has been really hard and long for me. It is true that I started the process with a high motivation standard but sometimes I felt it has gone down. There were lot of desserts to make in a short period of time and in some moments I felt really stressed. However, I really enjoyed this long road: learning how to make different desserts and being in contact with new ICTs for me.
I love ICTs since I was a child, but during this project I have realized that ICTs can be stressful too. When I started editing my first video I lost my nerves, I felt frustrated and my head repeated all the time: all my life using ICTs and making different videos and now I am not able to join three different videos in an only one? I felt angry with myself. But day by day and using the same program with all the desserts I started feeling better, understanding the program and joining the videos with ability.
So I have done a progress in three different fields: personal, as a baker and as an ICT user. Now that the progress has finished I feel proud of all the work I have done during the last months, I feel great because I have seen myself improving everyday.
GROUP CONCLUSIONS
When we started this project we were very motivated and with energy to achieve our aims, so we started working hard since the first moment. Now that we have finished with it, we have taken out some final conclusions. First of all, although the project has been in group, we have worked very individually during these last months because we had not the opportunity to meet each other. However, thanks to our communication we have always known what our group members were doing and which steps has each of us followed. Besides, we have had a lot of difficulties with the technology, mostly at the moment of editing our videos. But finally, with the help of tutorial videos and our patient we have obtained clear evidences of our process.
On the one hand, we have had the sensation that the aims we have agreed in the contract we wrote in the beginning, were very high and ambitious, so sometimes we felt we did not going to fulfill them. In fact, we think we had chosen so many desserts taking into account we started from zero. But finally, being constant and hard working has been a strong point in order to achieve most of our aims.
On the other hand, we have enjoyed this process because we have had the opportunity to be creative and to make each dessert in our own way. For example, we have found two different ways to make the cheesecake. So, for that, we have had freedom and each one has decided which way wanted to follow. When we wrote the contract we did not know which way will follow each of us at the time of baking, but during the process when we shared our different evidences we had the opportunity of seeing different results.
Step by step we started understanding how to use the blog and finally we have done a visual, useful and clear website. Moreover, we have created different sections where we can find much information related to bakery: recipes, glossary, evidences...
To continue, we have realized we have developed some skills that we did not know we have. Being constant and having patient has been very important when doing the desserts and thanks to that, most of the results have been very positive. We have learnt to follow a process where we had to go step by step and this skill has helped us in our academical life. We also have learnt how to share a project and although we have not met many times, we have been able to follow the process of our group members.
Finally, we want to stand out we have felt comfortable not only working on this topic but also working together. Referring to the language, as we have very similar standards that has helped us to do a complete project and we have helped each other when we have had difficulties. So, in general although we have had some obstacles during the project, we feel proud of our work and satisfied with the tasty results.
