Diary

On the following lines we will explain what we have done and the decisions we have taken each day. So by this way we will show the steps we have followed during all our process.

23rd of september


Today, we have had our first day in group to start with our project. At the beginning, we have not idea about what we were going to learn, because we had many topics in mind but at the end we decided to learn how to do home-made desserts. Then, we have started writing the reason of why we have chosen that topic, what are our objectives, our decisions…

During this afternoon we have spent many time thinking on the topic, so we will continue next class doing our project contract.

25th of september

We have used today's class to continue with the contract. After explaining all we are going to do by the project, we also have designed different rubrics and a calendar. Through the rubrics we are going to evaluate our individual work and we must put a mark or give a feedback. Using the calendar we should follow the marked work days. 

30th of september

We feel proud of the work we have done; in fact, Ernesto has told us that we are doing well and we can continue doing as we have done until now. Then we have created a questionnaire so as to receive judges' assessment: taste, smell, originality… Afterwards we have been deciding which will be our working tool and finally we have created a blog, in which we are going to upload all our process: the contract, a diary, glossary…

At the end of the class we have made a short presentation about our contract and which are our expectations for the future.

2nd of october

Today we have been seeing the projects of other groups of the class and finally we have presented ours. We have shown our contract, the rubrics we have done of decision and responsabilities and the calendar that we will take into account at the time of working. We also have mentioned that we have in mind to do an album of our recipes.

7th of october

Today has arrived the day of signing our contract with the coach and he has said that it looks very well. We have to continue accomplishing our contract and developing our process.

We have also had time to prepare the presentation where we will show to our classmates how our process is going on and which will be our next steps.

9th of october

We have continued completing our blog, adding some information, which will be helpful for us at the end of the process in order to contrast how we have developed. Besides, we have prepared the presentation for the next class, which will consist on showing our classmates how we have worked until now and which are our expectatives for next steps.

During practices (20th october- 19th december)

Each of us is continuing making desserts during this phase of practices. We are trying to record them, but in some cases we have problems, so we are looking for strategies to solve them. We are in contact, as we are a group and we need to know where is each person and how developes in her process. We have not established the order we have to follow to make the desserts, so each of us can decide what she wants to do first.

Christmas (19th december-6th january)

This phase is very important because the end of the process is arriving and when we go to the university the blog has to be almost finished. We are ending to make the desserts and now we are uploading all the needed information to our blog. We are also having contact to know how the changes of the blog are going on and to know which are our lasts desserts, so we can say that the process is been shared.

Learning new thing at class(6th january-22nd january)

In these six classes we have learnt things related to lifeplace learning, such as "What is a Mooc?" and we also have had the opportunity to take some conclusions in group. So, we have been learning in a formal way (at class) concepts that will be important to our project and for our daily life.

22nd of January

Today we have started preparing our coaching session and we have taken some ideas for the final presentation. Besides, as we have been together, we have also written group conclusions.

27th of January

On Thursday we have our coaching session, so today we have been answering the questions that Ernesto gave us on the last class with the aim of explaining clearly to our peer group the blog and the whole process. It has been easy to answered those questions because we have answered them by our scaffolds and we have writen how has been our process. Besides, we also have been looking for the aspects we have to explain better in the blog, for example, the diary section. 

29th of January

Today we have had our coaching session. We have been nervous at the beginning but when we have started with the presentation we have relaxed because we started feeling comfortable. Moreover, our peer group has given us a very good mark and that makes us feeling proud of our work. But, we are concious that we still have to continue working because we want the final presentation to be perfect and we also have to improve some aspects of the blog. 

3rd of February

Taking the advantage that today we have had time to work on our project, we have decided to stay together at the university preparing the presentation. For that, we have thought that it could be interesting to show our classmates how has been our process with a video. Although we are not skilled with the technology, today we have clarified how we want to mount the video.

12nd of February

Our final presentation
